Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra Tour Package: To promote tourism between India and Nepal, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has launched the first-ever Bharat Gaurav tourist train to Nepal. This special train, called the "Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra," will take passengers on a tour of Nepal's major religious, cultural, and natural tourist destinations. This journey is considered special for those who want a spiritual experience as well as a close-up view of Nepal's beauty.

When will the journey begin?

This IRCTC tour will begin from Indore on June 24, 2026. After a train journey of approximately 38 to 42 hours, tourists will arrive in Raxaul, Bihar, where they will cross the Nepal border and be taken by road to Chitwan, Pokhara, and Kathmandu. During the journey, they will visit several major tourist and religious sites, including Chitwan National Park, Phewa Lake, Manakamana Temple, and Pashupatinath Temple.

On July 1st, passengers will be brought back from Kathmandu by road to Raxaul, where the Bharat Gaurav train will depart for Indore. The return train will travel via Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati, Sehore, Shujalpur, and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, arriving in Indore on July 3rd. This includes train travel, hotel accommodation, meals, local transportation, and sightseeing, so passengers will not have to worry about any additional arrangements.

This special Bharat Gaurav train has a total of 150 seats. Passengers are provided with AC First Class, AC Second Class, and AC Third Class accommodation. This includes 20 seats in the Superior AC-1 Coupe category, 38 seats in the Superior AC-1 Cabin, 36 seats in the Deluxe AC-2 Tier, and 56 seats in the Comfort AC-3 Tier. Passengers can board the train from Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna stations.

In the Superior AC-1 category, the fare for single sharing is ₹99,980, for double sharing, and for triple sharing, the fare for children aged 5 to 11 is ₹84,025.
