Elon Musk Networth: Aerospace giant SpaceX has been listed on the US stock exchange, Nasdaq. This IPO has broken all records on Wall Street and in global corporate history.
SpaceX raised a record $75 billion (approximately ₹6.4 lakh crore) from the market through its IPO. Previously, the record for the largest IPO in world history was held by oil giant Saudi Aramco ($29.4 billion), which SpaceX surpassed by more than double that amount.
A massive jump of 19%
The company's issue price was $135 per share. Immediately after listing, it surged 19%, closing above $160. With this bumper listing, SpaceX's total market cap surpassed $2 trillion (approximately Rs 170 lakh crore).
SpaceX has now joined the club of trillion-dollar companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia. Following this IPO, Musk's total net worth has reached an unprecedented $1.1 trillion (approximately ₹94.6 lakh crore). With this, Musk is now nearly three times wealthier than Google's Larry Page, the world's second-richest person.
How much richer is Musk than Ambani-Adani?
Elon Musk's wealth is approximately $905 billion (approximately ₹77.8 lakh crore) more than the combined wealth of India's two richest tycoons: Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. Gautam Adani ranks 11th on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, ranking 23rd among the world's richest individuals. Adani's wealth surpasses the $112 billion mark.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani's wealth is $83 billion. Consequently, Musk alone is nearly eight times richer than Gautam Adani. The difference between their wealth is approximately $988 billion, or ₹85 lakh crore. Similarly, Musk's total wealth is nearly 10 times that of Mukesh Ambani, a difference of $1017 billion, or ₹87.5 lakh crore.
