Fortunately, you can use audio from a favorite Reel as your phone's ringtone. The process is slightly different on Android and iPhone. Let's explore the simple steps.
You'll need to save the Reel whose sound you like to your phone first. If the Reel has a download option, you can download the video. Alternatively, you can record a small portion of the Reel using your phone's screen recording feature. Keep in mind that you don't need the entire video to create a ringtone. It's best to keep the segment you want to use as a ringtone for about 20-30 seconds. After this, you can use a reliable audio editor or your phone's built-in editing tools to extract the audio from the video.
How to set up Reel sound on Android phone
It's quite easy to set your favorite audio file as a ringtone on your Android phone. First, save the MP3 or other audio file created from your Reel to your phone. Go to Settings and select Sound & vibration or a similar option. Then, tap Phone ringtone. This will display a list of your phone's ringtones.
Many Android phones offer options like Add ringtone, My Sounds, +, or Choose from files. Tap this option to select the audio file you created from your Reel. Once you select the file, it will be added to your ringtone list. Select it and save it.
In some Android phones, even after copying the audio to the Ringtones folder from the file manager, it starts appearing in the ringtone list.
The method is slightly different on the iPhone.
iPhone doesn't offer the option to directly select an MP3 file as your ringtone, unlike Android. You can use the GarageBand app for this.
