The shares had opened the trading day at ₹623. Over the past two days, the shares have fallen nearly 7 percent.
However, based on one-month data, the company's shares have provided investors with a gain of approximately 20.91%. The company's 52-week high during this period was ₹656.25, while the 52-week low was ₹378.65.
Reasons for the fall in Hindustan Zinc shares
Silver production declined by about 1% year-on-year in the third quarter. Previously, the company had lowered its production guidance for the second quarter to 680 tonnes, from a range of 700–710 tonnes.
