Latest ICC Rankings: The International Cricket Council has released the latest rankings, in which Pakistani and Sri Lankan players have benefited.

Pakistan gains in the latest ICC rankings

The ICC rankings have been significantly impacted by the Pakistan-Sri Lanka women's T20 series. Host Sri Lanka won the three-match T20 series 2-1. While this hasn't benefited the Pakistan team in the rankings, the players have certainly made a significant jump.

The Pakistan women's team suffered a humiliating defeat on their tour of Sri Lanka. They lost the ODI series 2-1 and then the T20I series 2-1. However, Pakistan ended the tour with a victory, winning the final T20I by 4 wickets.

Pakistan benefits, where is India

In the women's T20 bowling rankings, Nashra Sandhu has moved up one spot to eighth. Sri Lankan T20 captain Chamari Atapattu has jumped five places to 36th in the bowling rankings. Players from other countries, including Pakistan and Sri Lanka, have also gained in the rankings, but the world's No. 1 T20 women's bowler remains India's Sri Charani. Deepti Sharma remains at seventh.

India ahead in batting

In the recent T20 series, Pakistan's Shawal Zulfiqar was named Player of the Series. She scored 132 runs in three matches, finishing as the highest run-scorer in the entire series. The 21-year-old Shawal entered the top 50, securing 49th place.

There is no Pakistani in the top 10 of the women's T20 batting rankings, while three Indians are present. Smriti Mandhana is fifth, Shefali Verma is seventh and captain Harmanpreet Kaur is 10th.

The rankings for women's T20 all-rounders haven't seen much change either. Sri Lanka's Kavisha Dilhari has moved up one spot to 13th. India's top all-rounder in T20Is remains Deepti Sharma, currently ranked fifth.
