Gold Price Today: Gold prices in the domestic futures market witnessed a sharp rise on Thursday, January 29. Gold futures with February 5, 2026, expiry opened at Rs 1,69,882 per 10 grams on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday. On the previous trading day, gold had closed at Rs 1,65,915.

At 10:00 am on January 29, gold with February 5th expiry was trading at ₹1,80,300 on MCX. This represents a gain of approximately ₹14,300 from the previous day's closing price. MCX Gold had reached a high of ₹1,80,501 in early trade.
