The real world will be seen in GTA 6. Is the gaming world going to change?

GTA 6 is going to be a world where your decisions matter. Rockstar Games is working to make the game more interactive and realistic than ever before.

GTA 6 interactive gameplay

Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is poised to take the gaming world to a new level. Rockstar Games is creating a world where Jason and Lucia's actions, the people they meet, and their lives will all impact their gaming experience. Completing missions isn't the only objective; players will now be able to influence the story and the characters' journeys through their decisions.

Coming 13 years later, the game is being touted for its larger and more interactive world. Vice City, a Miami-inspired gaming location, is said to be nearly twice the size of GTA V's Los Santos. According to Rockstar, the entire map is nearly three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's playable area.

The game world will react to every action

The most distinctive feature of GTA 6 is its more immersive and responsive gameplay. If the player walks down the street with a weapon drawn, NPCs, or other characters in the game can call the police. Jason can also perform small everyday tasks. He can eat an apple, open the refrigerator, and drink a smoothie, which can temporarily increase his health. He can also pet a dog on the street and buy snacks for it from shops.

Fitness in the game will also be interactive

Jason can also work out at the gym. Lifting heavy weights requires more than just exercising; it also requires mastering technique. Using the controller's triggers, players can move the weight up and down. If the rhythm of movement is disrupted, stamina can be reduced.

Jason and Lucia's story is also in your hands

Jason and Lucia's relationship will also be a key part of the gameplay in GTA 6. Players will be able to decide whether they continue as lovers or remain simply partners in crime. Spending time together and responding to messages will play a role in keeping their relationship strong. Furthermore, both can earn money outside of story missions. Earnings can be earned through racing, scuba diving, playing pool, and other means.

More realistic NPCs and over 600,000 animations

Rockstar has put a lot of work into even the smallest details of the game. According to the company, GTA 6 will have over 600,000 animations, compared to around 55,000 in GTA V and 300,000 in Red Dead Redemption 2.

There's also been an emphasis on making NPCs more realistic. Rockstar has individually art-directed them instead of just generating them algorithmically. The game world has been carefully designed, down to the smallest details: rooms, objects, people's clothing, and surroundings.
