Where is Pinddaan performed for untimely dead ancestors

As soon as Pitru Paksha begins, people perform Pind Daan and Tarpan for their ancestors on the banks of the Falgu River in Gaya, Bihar. But if their Pind Daan is performed on the Pretshila altar, then they get freedom from the ghost world.
