Gold and Silver Price Today: Gold and silver prices are seeing a sharp decline in the domestic futures market on Tuesday, March 24. At the time of writing, gold futures with an expiry date of April 2, 2026, were trading down by approximately ₹1,950 on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX).

Gold futures on MCX opened at ₹1,38,411 per 10 grams. On the last trading day, gold closed at ₹1,39,260.

Silver price

Silver with a May 5, 2026, expiry date on MCX was trading down 3.78%, or about ₹8,500, at ₹2,16,652 per kg. Silver had opened the trading day at ₹2,18,628. The intraday high was ₹2,19,658.

In Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, 10 grams of silver is selling for ₹2,350 today. Customers will have to spend ₹23,500 to buy 100 grams of silver. In Chennai, the price of 10 grams of silver is ₹2,400.
