S Jaishankar: S Jaishankar raised the issue of cross-border terrorism with the Polish Foreign Minister. He stated bluntly that any leniency towards terrorism is unacceptable.

India shows a mirror to Poland on the issue of terrorism
During his meeting with Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in Delhi, S. Jaishankar strongly objected to his stance on terrorism. Responding to the Polish Foreign Minister's statement supporting Pakistan, S. Jaishankar bluntly stated that Poland should demonstrate zero tolerance for terrorism. He also expressed his views on the Russia-Ukraine war.
Poland should not help promote terrorist infrastructure.
India told Radoslaw Sikorski not to help foster terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said, "Recently in New York and Paris, I have openly shared my views on the Ukraine conflict and its consequences. In doing so, I have repeatedly emphasized that selectively targeting India is wrong and unjust, and I reiterate this today. You are no stranger to this region and are aware of the long-standing problem of cross-border terrorism."
What did Poland's Foreign Minister say about terrorism?
Echoing Jaishankar's remarks, Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski said, "I fully agree with you on the need to combat cross-border terrorism. As you may have heard, Poland recently suffered both arson and state-sponsored terrorism when a Polish railway line was blown up. However, due to the terrorists' failure, there were no casualties."
Poland mentioned Kashmir in a joint statement with Pakistan
The Polish Foreign Minister mentioned Kashmir in a joint statement issued with Pakistan in October 2025. The statement said, "Pakistan presented its position on the Jammu and Kashmir issue, and Poland on the Ukraine war. India condemned this then and has now raised this issue with the Polish Foreign Minister."
Poland supports India's stand on tariffs.
Poland supported Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar's statement that the US is targeting specific countries with tariffs. Radoslaw Sikorski said, "I completely agree with your statement about targeting specific countries with tariffs. We fear this is leading to disruptions in global trade."
Poland's Deputy Prime Minister said that Europe hopes India will maintain engagement with the region. He said, "We have seen that you are establishing embassies everywhere in Europe, which means you are serious about relations with the European Union."
