Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made his debut for Team India. He has become the youngest player to make his international debut for India. He made his international debut at the age of 15 years and 99 days. Vaibhav has now surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to become the youngest Indian cricketer to make his international debut.
India have dropped Sanju Samson for the second T20I against England, replacing him with Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the playing XI. Samson had scored just six runs in his previous three T20I innings.

Until now, Sachin Tendulkar held the record for the youngest Indian to make an international debut. He played his first international match against Pakistan in 1989 at the age of 16 years and 205 days. Thirty-seven years later, Vaibhav surpassed him in this record. Vaibhav played his first international match for India at just 15 years and 99 days old.
For the past week, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Vaibhav Suryavanshi's name. Team India's UK tour began on June 26th, but Vaibhav didn't get a chance to debut in the two matches against Ireland and the first T20I against England. Finally, Vaibhav made his debut on July 4th, 2025.
