Ai+ Smartphone has introduced a new version of its operating system, NxtQuantum OS (v1.1). According to the company, this update makes privacy and user control easier than before. With NxtQuantum OS (v1.1), the company has introduced the NxtPrivacy Dashboard, where app permissions can be viewed, changed, and revoked from a single location.

Additionally, features like background activity information and privacy alerts are also provided. The company has also shared data related to network traffic testing for data security, which includes testing of over 1,000 connections and 172 unique destination IPs. What new privacy features users will get in NxtQuantum OS v1.1

 

 

NxtQuantum OS v1.1 will provide users with several new privacy controls. The update includes the NxtPrivacy Dashboard, allowing app permissions to be viewed, modified, and revoked from a single location. Background Activity Visibility will also allow users to understand when an app is using sensitive device resources in the background. Privacy alerts will alert users to excessive or no longer necessary permissions. According to the company, these features aim to make apps' access to the device and personal data more transparent and give users greater control over their privacy.

Checking more than 1,000 connections

Regarding network security, Ai+ stated that NxtQuantum OS performed an automated analysis of source rules associated with over 1,000 connections and 172 unique destination IPs. A total of 1,226 connection records and 172 unique destination IPs were recorded in the company's shared Network Traffic Security Review report. According to the report, source rules flagged 94 connection records on 17 unique IPs. No high or critical IPs were found among these. The report also stated that no destination IPs were directly identified as being in China or Hong Kong.

Why is most of the traffic in India?

According to the company, NxtQuantum enforces a sovereign data boundary, whereby application data traffic is routed through local, India-hosted infrastructure. The company said that data traffic and IP pings are kept within India. External traffic is limited to essential Google core services, which are directed to California and Singapore and are essential for the normal functioning of the operating system.
