Used to send intelligence to ISI, 'maha thug' spy arrested from Alwar.

Police arrested a spy in Alwar who was sending Indian intelligence to Pakistan. During his court appearance on Saturday, the court granted the police's request for a three-day remand.

Mangat Singh, arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan, was produced in court on Saturday (October 11, 2025) after being apprehended in Alwar. Intelligence agencies presented him before the CJM court and requested three days of police custody remand (PCR), which the court granted.

Investigating agencies will now be able to conduct three days of intensive questioning of Mangat Singh, and he will also be taken to Alwar. According to sources, Mangat Singh had been in contact with a handler linked to the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI for quite some time. He was sending sensitive information related to India to Pakistan.

Fake name used for honey tapping

Most shockingly, the Pakistani numbers he used to send information to were saved on his mobile phone under the names "Isha Sharma" and "Isha Ghosh." Investigations have revealed that these names are fake and were likely used for honey trapping.

Special Public Prosecutor Sudesh Satyawan stated that the accused, Mangat Singh, was not only involved in espionage activities but also received money from Pakistan. Money was transferred to his bank accounts from Pakistan several times. Preliminary investigations have also revealed that Mangat Singh has been involved in numerous cases of fraud against people in Alwar and is known locally as a "siddha purush" and a "maha thug."

Leak of intelligence information of Operation Sindoor

Significantly, he allegedly sent numerous intelligence reports to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Furthermore, he also maintained close contact with a female handler during the period surrounding the Pahalgam attack, sharing information. Agencies have recovered significant evidence from the accused's mobile phone, which supports his espionage network.

According to sources, Mangat Singh has been on the radar of intelligence agencies for some time and has been under constant surveillance. He will be produced in court again on October 14th, where further action will be decided.
