Purple electric buses will ply on Delhi roads, benefiting tourism in this way.

Delhi News: The route of these buses will start from the Prime Minister's Museum and will go to many popular places, including India Gate, New Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Connaught Place, Delhi Haat and Bharat Mandapam.

The Delhi government is launching a new bus service for tourists visiting Delhi from within the country and abroad. This bus will have a dedicated route and will operate exclusively for tourists, allowing them to visit many of Delhi's most important and famous landmarks on a single bus.

According to information, these buses will begin their route from the Prime Minister's Museum and will go to several popular destinations, including India Gate, the new Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Connaught Place, Dilli Haat, and Bharat Mandapam. These buses will feature information about historical sites like the Signature Bridge and Bharat Mandapam. The aim is to attract both domestic and foreign tourists and provide them with a complete Delhi experience.

The rent will be so much

Tourism department officials stated that the fare for these special tourist buses is ₹500 for adults and ₹300 for children aged 6 to 12. Tickets will be available both online and offline. The department's goal is to ensure that tourists can comfortably travel to the capital's major destinations on a single bus, without the hassle of frequently changing vehicles.

When will the scheme start?

The department said it plans to launch this service by the end of this month. It will offer evening tours, allowing tourists to see the War Memorial, the new Parliament complex, Dilli Haat, and other tourist destinations.

Millions of domestic and foreign tourists visit Delhi every year. Until now, they had to change vehicles multiple times to reach different parts of the city. The Purple Bus service will allow tourists to comfortably travel around the entire New Delhi circuit.

This is how tourism will benefit

The Delhi government believes that these purple buses will not only provide a better experience for tourists but also enhance the capital's tourism and attractiveness. Furthermore, this initiative is also environmentally friendly, as the buses will be electric, thus reducing pollution in the city.

Part of the Green Tourism initiative

This new service is part of the capital's Smart and Green Tourism initiative, and the government has made every effort to ensure its success. Tourists can now enjoy a safe, comfortable, and digital experience while exploring Delhi.
