During the meeting, IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers was seen with folded hands in front of Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu.

At the meeting, the company stated that 100% of refunds for flights due by December had been completed. Strict instructions were issued to expedite the remaining refunds and baggage deliveries. The ministry stated that a temporary reduction in IndiGo flights was necessary to stabilize operations and reduce the number of flight cancellations.

The ministry stated that it had stated on Monday (December 8, 2025) that Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu could summon IndiGo Airlines CEO Peter Elbers to the ministry on Tuesday (December 9, 2025) and meet with him. Now, IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers will again attend a separate meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, December 10, 2025) organized by the DGCA.
