Rising Star Asia Cup 2025: 4 teams finalised for Asia Cup Rising Stars, full semi-final lineup out, who will get a ticket to the final?

The semifinal lineup for the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 has been finalised. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh are the four teams left in the race for the title. The semi-finals will be played on November 21st.

 

 

Rising Star Asia Cup 2025: The group stage of the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 was full of excitement, and now the tournament has entered the knockout stage. After three league matches each, the four semi-finalists have been determined: India A, Pakistan A, Sri Lanka A, and Bangladesh A. The two semi-final matches will be played on November 21st, with India facing Bangladesh and Pakistan facing Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka made it from Group A

Bangladesh A and Sri Lanka A qualified for the semi-finals in Group A. Bangladesh won two of their three matches to earn four points and advance based on net run rate. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, performed strongly, winning two of their three matches and finishing at the top of the group.

Afghanistan finished on equal points with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Group A, but were eliminated from the semi-final race due to a poor net run rate. Hong Kong lost all three of their matches and were eliminated from the tournament without a win.

Pakistan is unbeaten in Group B

In Group B, Pakistan A performed strongly, winning all three matches and securing a direct berth in the semi-finals. Pakistan finished first in the group with 6 points. Meanwhile, India A won two of their three matches and finished second with 4 points, advancing to the final four.

Oman won one match but could not advance, while the UAE did not get any win and was eliminated from the tournament from the very beginning.

Both semi-finals will be held on November 21.

1st Semi-Final: India A vs Bangladesh A, 3 PM

2nd Semi-Final: Pakistan A vs Sri Lanka A, 8 PM

The winning teams will face each other in the final to be played in Doha on November 23.

India's journey so far:

India A started the tournament with a bang. They crushed UAE by 148 runs in the first match, making a strong start. However, Pakistan A dealt a major blow to India in the second match, defeating them by 8 wickets. Despite this, the team secured a place in the semi-finals by defeating Oman by 6 wickets in the final league match.

India is now expected to put up a strong performance in the semi-final against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also ready to put in all their efforts to move closer to the title.
