FSSAI has banned claims like 100 percent natural, 100 percent pure, and 100 percent organic on some of the company's products like honey, desi ghee, apple cider vinegar, virgin coconut oil, sesame oil, coconut water and coconut milk. Action also on fake ghee, oil and paneer
FSSAI had busted an interstate network manufacturing and selling fake ghee in June. During a joint operation in Delhi and Haryana, more than 6,500 liters of suspected adulterated ghee was seized. Apart from this, paneer has been banned in Maharashtra today in the FSSAI action. However, only analog paneer has been banned, not completely.
