Azam Khan News: Samajwadi Party MLA Nawab Jan Khan met with senior SP leader Azam Khan and his family in Rampur. They also discussed the upcoming elections.

Following the release of senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, political activity regarding the 2027 assembly elections has intensified. In this context, SP MLA Nawab Jan met Azam Khan in Rampur. The two leaders discussed the upcoming assembly elections.

SP MLA Nawab Jan, along with his family, visited Azam Khan's residence in Rampur to inquire about his health. Nawab Jan's wife and former municipal council president Shaista Begum and son Abdal Khan were also present. The Azam family also extended a warm welcome to the SP MLA. Azam Khan was accompanied by his son Abdullah Azam and wife Tanzeem Fatima.

The meeting between the two families lasted about an hour. They discussed the upcoming assembly elections, and discussed all the constituencies in the division, including Thakurdwara. Azam Khan urged the SP MLA to begin preparing for the elections right now.

In fact, since Azam Khan's release from jail and SP President Akhilesh Yadav's visit to his residence, political activity has intensified in western Uttar Pradesh. Leaders who had been marginalized after Azam Khan's imprisonment have now become active.  

Following the Azam-Akhilesh meeting, hopes for better days have risen among those close to them. It is believed that Azam Khan's role could become even more important in the 2027 elections. Azam Khan wields considerable influence in western Uttar Pradesh. His will may largely determine who will be given a ticket from Rampur and surrounding areas, including Moradabad. This meeting is also being viewed from this perspective.
