Political tensions have intensified in Assam just days before the crucial विधानसभा elections, after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lodged formal complaints against Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Responding to the claims, Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita dismissed the documents as “fake and fabricated.” He added that the government has verified the facts through official diplomatic channels and found no basis for the allegations.
