Even after suffering setbacks from India's precision counter-operations like Operation Sindoor, Pakistan appears undeterred, escalating tensions with fresh provocations. Drone incursions and remnants of suspected Pakistani weaponry have triggered alerts in several Indian regions including Rajasthan and Punjab.
Drone Attacks Foiled, Bombs Found in Jaisalmer
India’s advanced S-400 air defense system successfully intercepted multiple drones launched from Pakistan in recent days. Meanwhile, security forces recovered two live bombs in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district, raising concerns about further infiltration attempts.
The first explosive was discovered in the Jogis’ colony near a nursery in Kishanghat area, after a local resident, Arjun Nath, spotted it and informed village officials. Police and an Air Force bomb disposal team secured the site and sealed off the area.
A second bomb was located in Gajrup Sagar, roughly 3 km from the city area. It landed near Arjun Nath’s residence. He reported that the explosion kicked up a massive sand cloud, causing panic among the locals.
Missile Debris Triggers Panic in Hoshiarpur, Punjab
In Punjab's Hoshiarpur district, a damaged missile was found in the Kamahi Devi hilly area, specifically near Rampur village. Although no casualties or property damage were reported, the discovery created panic. Authorities believe the missile may have been intercepted by defense radar near Unchi Bassi Army Camp and fell in the rural terrain after being neutralized mid-air.
Police teams reached the scene, but an official statement is still awaited regarding the type and origin of the missile.
Punjab Ministers to Review Emergency Preparedness in Border Areas
