Instead of giving up, grief and desperation transform her into a determined mother prepared to confront extraordinary danger.

Her search leads her to Joypura, a mysterious fictional city where she encounters a child-trafficking network. Despite losing her sight, Bani refuses to stop until she discovers what happened to her daughter.

The supporting cast includes Ishwak Singh, Chhaya Kadam, Swastika Mukherjee, Mita Vashisht and Jatin Sarna.

2. Dhamaal 4

If you want something lighter for the weekend, the Dhamaal gang is back.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 is the fourth instalment in the popular slapstick comedy franchise.

The familiar characters Guddu, Lallan, Adi and Manav return for another treasure hunt. Once again, the madness begins with a dying man revealing the location of a hidden fortune.

The characters race to find Shaitan Singh's legendary treasure, but their plans become increasingly ridiculous after a clumsy pirate named Adhura, played by Ravi Kishan, accidentally destroys the treasure map.

The adventure eventually takes the group to a mysterious island where virtually nothing goes according to plan.

The ensemble includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Anjali Anand.

Dhamaal 4 arrives on Netflix on September 4.

3. GDN

R. Madhavan headlines GDN, a biographical film based on the life of renowned Indian inventor and industrialist Gopalswamy Doraiswamy Naidu.

Often referred to as the “Edison of India,” G.D. Naidu became known for his inventions, entrepreneurship and contribution to industrial development.

The story begins around 1914, when a young Naidu becomes fascinated after seeing a British officer's motorcycle.

Determined to understand the machine, he works for years, spends his savings to acquire it and eventually dismantles it to study how it functions.

His curiosity develops into a much larger journey.

Naidu goes on to build a successful bus transport business while continuing to pursue invention and industrial innovation. The film also explores the professional opposition, political challenges and personal difficulties he faces along the way.

The cast includes R. Madhavan, Priyamani, Sathyaraj, Dushara Vijayan, Jayaram, Nandu, Karunakaran and Thambi Ramaiah.

Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, GDN begins streaming on Netflix on September 4.

4. The Court

Her professional and personal worlds collide when a complicated legal case puts her directly against her father in court.

The battle forces Yazhini to confront not only the legal dispute in front of her but also her own self-doubt and society's prejudices.

R. Yogalakshmi plays Yazhini, while V. Jayaprakash portrays her father.

The series also features Mahalakshmi Sudarshanan, Sanjana Tiwari, Roshan A and Arjun Shyam Gopan.

5. Unmadham

Hoping that solving an important case could improve his chances of getting transferred, he picks up an old missing-persons investigation that has remained untouched for years.

But as he digs deeper, the case becomes increasingly strange.

Real evidence begins to overlap with apparently supernatural events, leaving Shelly struggling to distinguish reality from imagination.

6. Korean Kanakaraju

Korean Kanakaraju combines supernatural horror with comedy and an unusual India-South Korea connection.

Written and directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film stars Varun Tej as Kanakaraju, a carefree and hot-tempered young man from Rayalaseema.

His strange adventure begins when a parcel from South Korea is accidentally delivered to him.

Inside is a dragon-shaped vase containing what appears to be ash.

After an unusual incident involving the vase, Kanakaraju begins experiencing dramatic changes, including mysterious powers.

He eventually discovers that the vessel contains the remains of a Korean gangster whose spirit now wants him to travel to South Korea.

But the ghost has not revealed the complete truth, setting up the supernatural chaos that follows.

Varun Tej is joined by Satya and Ritika Nayak.

7. Lovesick

Their relationship becomes dangerous because Emiliano belongs to the opposing side of an increasingly violent ideological conflict.

As political tensions escalate, the couple is forced to navigate a painful conflict between love, loyalty, family and revolution.

8. The Gentlemen Season 2
