WhatsApp Stickers: The messaging app WhatsApp constantly introduces new features for its users. Now, an update has arrived that could make chatting easier and more fun. With the new update, users will automatically see stickers as they type emojis during a chat. This will significantly reduce the time spent searching for stickers
As soon as you type an emoji, the corresponding sticker will appear.
With the new feature, whenever a user types an emoji in the chat box, the corresponding sticker will immediately appear on the screen. Previously, sending a sticker required opening a separate sticker keyboard and then scrolling through different sticker packs to find the right one.
Now this process has become much easier. As soon as a user types an emoji, stickers corresponding to the emotion or reaction will immediately appear, and a tap can be used to send one directly to the chat. This will save time during conversations and improve the chatting experience
Update released for iPhone users
This new feature is currently included in WhatsApp for iOS . With the latest update, the app's version number has reached 26.8.76. This update also adds the sticker suggestion feature.
According to reports, this feature is gradually being rolled out to all users, so if this feature is not visible on someone's phone right now, it may automatically activate in the coming days.
Show More Results will get you more stickers
If users need more options than what's shown, they can tap the "Show more results" option to see more stickers. This can include both in-app stickers and third-party sticker packs.
For example, if someone types a laughing emoji, stickers with funny reactions will appear, whereas if someone types a heart emoji, stickers related to love or emotions will appear.
More new features in the future
Meta Platforms has been adding several new features to its messaging platform in recent months. Recently, a Group Message History feature was added to group chats, allowing new members to view past messages.
Additionally, reports suggest the company is working on security features like SIM binding for Indian users. It's also reportedly preparing to introduce a premium subscription plan, possibly called WhatsApp Plus. Paid users are expected to receive additional customization and exclusive features.
