19-year-old Tahseen Mohammed Jamshed has been named in Qatar's squad for the FIFA World Cup. Originally from Kannur, Kerala, he came through Qatar's youth academy system and currently plays for Al-Duhail SC. Qatar's first match in the FIFA World Cup 2026 is against Switzerland on Sunday, June 14th. The match will begin at 12:30 AM IST. It remains to be seen whether Tahseen Mohammed Jamshed will get a chance to play in the first match. Qatar is in Group B, which also includes Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and hosts Canada.
