Lost Wallet Tips: If your wallet is lost or stolen, don't panic; do this first

You may have noticed that many people carry wallets, which contain money as well as many important documents. They carry many important documents, including driving licenses, credit cards, and debit cards. Therefore, if your wallet is stolen or lost, it's crucial to take action in a timely manner.

The first thing
you should do is block your debit and credit cards as soon as your wallet is lost. You can contact your bank to do this. Once blocked, no one will be able to misuse your cards.

File a complaint at the police station.
After this, go to your nearest police station, provide details of the incident, and file a complaint. Keep a copy of the FIR; it may be useful in case of future legal need.

Keep these things in mind:
First of all, get all the important cards blocked.
Do not delay in complaining to the police.
Get a duplicate PAN card.
Get all the important documents including driving license reissued.
