This temple is located in Bihar and is believed to be the place where the left eye of Goddess Sati fell. Devotees believe that offering kajal or saffron-infused milk here cures eye diseases and problems like cataract. During Navratri, devotees perform puja with deep concentration, especially on the day of Ashtami.

Nartiang's mother Jayanti, Meghalaya

This temple is situated in the misty hills of Meghalaya. The left thigh of Goddess Sati had fallen here, hence it is also called Maa Jayanti Shakti Peeth. This temple was rebuilt in the 19th century. The Ashtadhatu idol installed here still radiates its mythological power.

Shrinkala Devi Temple, West Bengal

This temple is located in Pandua near Hooghly in West Bengal. It is believed that the abdomen of the goddess fell here, but there is no temple, only a medieval tower standing here. In February, a month-long fair is held here, where both Hindus and Muslims come together to worship, making it a unique festival.

Vishalakshi Temple, Varanasi

This temple is situated on the banks of the river Ganga near Kashi Vishwanath. It is believed that the earring of Goddess Sati, or one of her three eyes, fell here. Located in the Nallamala hills on the banks of the Krishna river in Andhra Pradesh, the throat or upper lip of the goddess fell in this temple.
