Great news is coming for crores of farmers in the country. The wait for the 22nd installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is likely to end soon. The month of February is going to be very important financially for farmers as, after the budget, the government may transfer the next installment of Rs 2,000 directly to the farmers' bank accounts. However, this time the government has tightened the rules and taken strict measures such as physical verification to weed out ineligible beneficiaries.

PM Kisan Yojana: Latest Update on the 22nd Installment
The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) was released in November 2025. Now, according to the rules, the four-month interval is about to be completed. It is speculated that more than 9 crore farmers will receive this financial benefit in the middle or last week of February 2026. It is worth noting that during the previous installments, several cases came to light where both husband and wife in the same family were receiving benefits or money was being transferred in the name of minors. To prevent such irregularities, the department has temporarily withheld the names of lakhs of beneficiaries.
How to check the Village Beneficiary List?
If you want to know whether your name is included in the new list of your village, you can follow the steps given below from the comfort of your home:
First, go to the official portal https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
On the homepage, click on the Beneficiary List tab under the 'Farmers Corner' section.
Now a new page will open where you will have to select your state, district, sub-district (tehsil), block, and village.
After selecting all the information, click on the Get Report button.
Now the list of the entire village will appear in front of you, where you can see your name.
What to do if your name is not on the list?
If you do not find your name in the village list, there is no need to worry. Go back to the portal and click on the Know Your Status option. Log in here by entering your registration number and OTP. Check if there is a green tick next to 'e-KYC', Aadhaar seeding, and land seeding in your status. If any of these steps are incomplete, your installment may be withheld. You can get this corrected immediately through your nearest Agriculture Department office or Common Service Center (CSC).
