Ashneer Grover slams wife Madhuri Jain Grover's troll
Lock Up 2: Former BharatPe Managing Director Ashneer Grover is once again in the headlines. His response to a user on the social media platform X is going viral. In fact, in Netflix's show Lock Up Season 2, contestant Madhuri Jain Grover commented on family planning and the divide between wealth and poverty. She said that the more children the rich have, the more wealth they will grow, and the more children the poor have, the more poverty they will increase. She pointed out that the principle of "Hum Do Hamare Do" doesn't apply to everyone.
Why did Madhuri say this?
During an episode of the show, Madhuri had to share a secret about her life to save herself from elimination. Madhuri revealed that she and Ashneer were planning a third child after their two children were grown, but they didn't get the support of their family. They said two children were enough. Later, when they reconsidered their plans for a third child, it was too late and medically impossible.
She cited several prominent figures like Shah Rukh Khan , saying that all wealthy and successful people have a third child. A third child always holds you accountable. Madhuri added that the "we two, our two" rule doesn't apply to everyone. Family planning should be based on economic status.
Madhuri became a victim of trolling
Following Madhuri's statement, people began criticizing her heavily on social media. Meanwhile, a content creator named Nalini Unagar tagged Madhuri Jain's husband, businessman Ashneer Grover, writing, "Your wife recently said that if poor people have more children, poverty increases. So, donate your wealth worth approximately 900 crores to 1,800 families and give them 50 lakh rupees each. These 1,800 families will be able to happily feed and raise their 3,200 children. After that, you should go to the Himalayas and become a monk."
What did Ashneer say?
Responding to the troller in his candid manner, Ashneer said, "The way you beg/ask for donations is a bit casual. My wife has already given me the advice - you'll get only this much for this much." Now, his response is attracting attention and has garnered a variety of comments from users.
