Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi announced his arrival on the international stage with a memorable debut for India against England in the second T20 International. He achieved the feat at just 15 years and 99 days, breaking the previous record held by Mohammad Sharif, who had struck his first international six at the age of 15 years and 260 days during a Test match against Pakistan in 2001.

The young opener added another milestone by becoming the youngest player to clear the boundary for six in T20 International cricket.

He surpassed the previous record held by Rashid Khan, who had achieved the feat in 2016 at the age of 17 years and 110 days. Vaibhav's fearless stroke-play ensured the record changed hands by a considerable margin.

The left-handed batter showed no signs of nervousness despite making his international debut against a quality England bowling attack.
