Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs in the IPL 2026 Eliminator. The hero of RR's impressive victory was Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who played a blistering innings of 97 runs in 29 balls. RR batsman Dhruv Jurel says that Vaibhav's mantra is that he doesn't care about the bowler.

Speaking at the press conference, Jurel heaped praise on Vaibhav. He said, "The best thing I've seen about Vaibhav is that he doesn't plan anything. He practices a lot and always believes in himself. That's what he does every time he goes out and plays. The best thing about him is that he believes in himself. He never doubts that he won't be able to do it."

Jurel said that Vaibhav focuses solely on the ball, not the bowler. He said, "When we went to the academy, we were taught to look at the ball, not the bowler. We always looked at the bowler and thought he was a big name. However, Vaibhav only looks at the ball, nothing else. Vaibhav's mantra is that he doesn't care about the bowler."

Vaibhav reached his half-century in just 16 balls in the Eliminator match. He became the joint-fastest batsman to score a half-century in the IPL playoffs. He also set the record for hitting the most sixes in a single IPL season. Vaibhav has hit 65 sixes so far in IPL 2026.

He broke Chris Gayle's record of 59 sixes in 2012. He became the highest run-scorer in a single season for an uncapped batsman in IPL history. Vaibhav has scored 680 runs in 15 matches this season. He hit 12 sixes in his innings of 97 runs. He also became the batsman with the most sixes in an IPL playoff match.
