Indian all-rounder Riyan Parag, who captained the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026, unexpectedly shared a photo from his hospital bed, announcing that he had undergone successful shoulder surgery. Parag's right shoulder surgery was performed under the supervision of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The question now is, when will he return?

What did Ryan Parag say about the surgery?

The Indian all-rounder shared a picture of the surgery on social media and wrote in the caption, "Well, the shoulder has finally won. For all those who were asking, the surgery has been done, and everything went well."

 

He further wrote, "The last two years have tested me in ways I never expected. There were good days, there were frustrating days, and there were days when just completing a game was a challenge."

Further, regarding rehab, Ryan Parag wrote, "Now a different challenge lies ahead - recovery, rehab, and patience. I will soon be back to doing what I love. See you soon."

When will it return?

A BCCI source, speaking to news agency PTI, said, "At present, there is no fixed time frame for his return as the focus is on his complete recovery."

International career of Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag, who plays white-ball cricket for India, has played one ODI and nine T20 Internationals in his international career. Batting in his only ODI, he scored 15 runs and took three wickets. In his T20 International debut, he has scored 106 runs and taken four wickets.
