Petrol, diesel prices today: From Delhi to Mumbai, know the prices of petrol and diesel on August 13

Fuel prices in India remained stable on Thursday despite fluctuations in  the price of international benchmark Brent crude oil . State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs), which determine petrol and diesel prices, remained the same in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram and Jaipur. 

Retail petrol and diesel prices are based on the last major price revision by OMCs, which was implemented nearly three months ago, on May 25th. Government fuel retailers are protecting customers from market fluctuations and oil price volatility. Fuel rates, updated daily at 6:00 am under dynamic pricing, are given below:

Crude Oil Price Today
Oil gave up some of its six-session gains on August 13 as the US-Iran war dragged on for a long time and investors awaited progress in peace talks and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, reports Reuters. Oil prices fell more than $1 after rising 12% in the previous six sessions. Brent futures fell 1.5%, or $1.29, to trade at $87.69 a barrel by 0100 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell $1.30, or 1.6%, to $81.97.
