Ever since Mohsin Naqvi became chairman of Pakistan Cricket, Pakistan cricket has been heading towards ruin. Naqvi has faced serious allegations like these. The Pakistani team is currently in England, trailing badly in the Test series 0-2. This performance has once again put Pakistani cricket in the dock, but Naqvi has targeted critics by citing the example of India.
Due to poor performance, the PCB sent back seven players and two coaches midway through the England tour. The Pakistan team's performance has come under criticism, raising questions about the future of cricket in the country. Despite this, Mohsin Naqvi defended his decisions and cited improvements in white-ball cricket as an example.
India also lost to Ireland.
Speaking to the media in London, Mohsin Naqvi said, "South Africa lost to Namibia, and India also lost to Ireland. Did cricket end after that?" Now, Naqvi has to resort to India to escape the media.
Naqvi clarified that whoever the Pakistan team needs will be called up. He said, "If a player isn't performing, what can we do? Every match and series is important for us."
When it comes to the Test format, Pakistan has truly become one of the worst teams. Pakistan is ranked eighth in the world in Test cricket, having once been ranked in the top three or four. Pakistan also sits at the bottom of the World Test Championship standings. Now, the series loss against England has only added insult to injury.

In his defense, Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pakistan team has performed well in white-ball cricket, and why is no one paying attention to that performance? He said, "We used to be ranked eighth in the ODI rankings, but now we are fifth. We have played six ODI series, winning four of them. Yet, is Pakistan cricket still being ruined?"
Naqvi pointed out that the Pakistani team's success rate has increased from 24 percent to 73 percent. Pakistan is ranked fifth in ODIs and sixth in the T20I rankings. He added that building a strong team doesn't happen overnight.
