Patanjali honey receives international approval! The company claims research published in a global journal.

Patanjali claims that the quality of its honey has been verified by research published in Applied Food Research. Testing using techniques like HPLC found that the honey met FSSAI standards, and no adulteration was found.

Patanjali Honey

Patanjali, a leading institution in the Indian FMCG sector, has once again proven its quality and purity on a global stage. Extensive scientific research on Patanjali honey has been published in the prestigious research journal "Applied Food Research," published by the world-renowned Elsevier publication. This achievement is a matter of pride not only for the institution but also for the entire food industry in the country.

A major victory against adulteration

Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishna stated that Patanjali's primary objective is to protect the country from the poison of adulteration. He emphasized that Indian products are often viewed with suspicion internationally, but this research has proven that world-class research and pure products are possible in India.

Honey has passed rigorous scientific tests.

According to Dr. Anurag Vashishtha, Chief Scientist at Patanjali, this study tested 25 different batches of Patanjali honey using advanced scientific techniques such as HPLC, HPTLC, and UHPLC. The key findings of the research are as follows:

  • All batches have fully met the standards set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
  • No extraneous sugars, synthetic syrups, or harmful chemical residues were found in the honey.
  • Remarkable consistency in quality was observed between different batches, reflecting the institute's stringent control system.

Future commitment

Acharya Balkrishna clarified that Patanjali's supply chain is highly transparent and secure, from raw material sourcing to final packaging. The institute has pledged to continue research in accordance with international standards in the future to ensure that the public continues to receive scientifically proven and safe products.
