Bihar News: Addiction to online gaming took another life. Ranjan Kumar, a medicine shop employee in Muzaffarpur, committed suicide by hanging himself after losing money in online gaming during the India-Pakistan match. The atmosphere became gloomy due to the cries of the family members, the police is engaged in investigation.

 

Bihar News: Addiction to online gaming took the life of a young man in Muzaffarpur's Kazimuhammadpur police station area. 25-year-old Ranjan Kumar committed suicide by hanging himself in his room at Madipur Ram Raji Road. Ranjan worked in a medicine shop and was under stress due to losing money on an online gaming app during the India-Pakistan match.

 

On Monday afternoon, when his mother Neelam Devi returned from work, Ranjan's body was found hanging from the fan with the help of a towel. Seeing the condition of the son, the mother started screaming, due to which the people around gathered. There was hope that he would be alive, so the noose was cut and he was brought down, but by then he had died.

Police investigated, FSL team collected evidence

On receiving information about the incident, the police of Kazi Mohammadpur police station reached the spot. Additional SHO Saket Kumar Shardul inspected the spot with his team and sent the body for post-mortem. Considering the seriousness of the case, the FSL (Forensic Science Lab) team was called, which collected evidence for an hour.

Ranjan was alone at home last time

Ranjan's mother told that she had gone to work at 8:30 am, while the elder son Chandan also left for his work at 6 am. Ranjan was alone in the house at that time. When the mother returned at 12 noon, she found the son hanging from the noose. The police is investigating all the aspects whether it is a case of suicide or some other reason may also be involved in it. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report of the FSL team.
