Madhya Pradesh: Husband hired a contract killer to murder his wife, plotting the murder after watching 'Crime Patrol'

Khandwa Crime News: The accused husband had said in his complaint to the police that three boys stopped him near a culvert on the way and beat him up, and during this, one of the boys stabbed his wife, Savita, several times with a knife.

In Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, a man, fed up with his wife, allegedly hired killers to murder her. A police official revealed this on Tuesday (September 23). Claiming to have solved the murder within 24 hours, police said they have arrested the husband and two others, while another suspect remains at large. According to police, the accused, influenced by the television serial "Crime Patrol," plotted and executed the entire incident.

 

Superintendent of Police (SP) Manoj Kumar Rai said that Mahendra Patel (25), a resident of Digris village in the Padam Nagar police station area of ​​Khandwa, lodged a complaint at the police station that on the night of September 21, when he had severe stomach pain, he was coming to Khandwa with his wife Savita, to see a doctor.

He further stated, Patel stated in his complaint that three boys stopped him near a culvert and assaulted him. During the incident, one of the boys stabbed his wife, Savita, multiple times, killing her on the spot. Rai stated that the police registered a case and began investigating, finding that Mahendra had paid a contract of one lakh rupees to have Savita murdered.

The knife used in the murder and the supari money were seized.

The Superintendent of Police also stated that the police have seized the knife used in the murder and the money from the accused. Manoj Kumar Rai said, "Police have arrested the accused husband and two others, while one is still absconding and is being searched for."

Murder plot hatched after watching 'Crime Patrol'!

He said the police acted swiftly and solved the case within 24 hours. The SP said, "The accused husband, Mahendra, was influenced by watching 'Crime Patrol' on TV and, frustrated with his wife, orchestrated the entire incident."
