The new season is set to begin on March 28th, and as always, some international stars will be playing their first matches in the Indian Premier League in 2026. So, here's a list of all the foreign players who will be making their IPL debuts in 2026.

Pathum
Nissanka has emerged as one of Sri Lanka's most reliable batsmen over the past three to four years. He will play for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2026. The Delhi team acquired him for ₹4 crore in the mini-auction.

Finn Allen
, The New Zealand batsman who scored a century in just 33 balls in the 2026 T20 World Cup, will play for the Kolkata Knight Riders, who bid ₹2 crore for him. Allen has previously been part of the RCB squad, but never got the opportunity to debut.

England opener Ben
Duckett will also play for the Delhi Capitals. Delhi acquired him for ₹2 crore (20 million rupees) at the auction. Duckett has scored 5,397 runs in his 217-match T20 career. His strike rate is also above 140.

Blessing Muzarabani,
A 6.5-foot-tall Zimbabwean bowler will play for the Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR signed him as a replacement for Mustafizur Rahman. Muzarabani is coming into the T20 World Cup 2026 with a total of 13 wickets.

Allah
Ghazanfar, a 19-year-old Afghan bowler known as the "Mystery Spinner," was bought by the Mumbai Indians for ₹4.80 crore (480 million rupees) at auction. He has taken 77 wickets in his 63-match T20 career and is particularly adept at controlling the run rate.

Jack Edwards,
A 25-year-old Australian all-rounder will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026. SRH bid a whopping ₹3 crore for him at the auction. Edwards has scored 853 runs in his T20 career and taken 52 wickets as a medium-pacer.

Jacob Duffy,
New Zealand fast bowler has made his mark on international T20 cricket over the past two years. He was acquired by RCB for a whopping ₹2 crore. Last year, Duffy played 21 international T20 matches and took 35 wickets.
