The government regularly launches various welfare schemes to provide financial assistance to women. Several such schemes are being implemented in different states. A major initiative in Madhya Pradesh is the Chief Minister's Ladli Behna Yojana, under which eligible women receive monthly financial assistance.

The scheme currently provides ₹1,500 per month to eligible beneficiaries through their Aadhaar-linked, DBT-enabled bank account.

Women are now eagerly awaiting the next installment, with many beneficiaries eager to know when the money will arrive in their accounts. With the festive season approaching, there's also considerable interest in whether the installment will be released before the holidays.

When will the money be credited?

Madhya Pradesh has a large beneficiary base for the Ladli Behna Yojana. According to the official scheme portal, over 1.25 crore applicants are currently listed as eligible beneficiaries.

However, any specific claims regarding the release date of a particular installment must be confirmed through an official government announcement. Beneficiaries can use the official Ladli Behna portal to check the status of their application and payment, rather than relying solely on social media reports.

The official website of the scheme also provides the option to check the beneficiary list and other details related to the application.

Who is eligible for Ladli Behna Yojana?

According to official guidelines, applicants must be residents of Madhya Pradesh and married women. Widows, divorcees, and abandoned women are also eligible for the scheme.

The eligibility age is generally 21 years or more and less than 60 years, as per applicable rules.

There are also financial and family-related eligibility criteria. For example, a family with an annual self-reported income of more than ₹2.5 lakh is not eligible. An applicant may also be ineligible if they are a woman or have a family member who is an income tax payer.
