The first ODI between India and Afghanistan is scheduled to be played in Dharamsala. Both teams are present at the stadium, but the toss has not yet taken place due to persistent rain.

If the match doesn't start by this time, it will become a 20-20 ODI.

The three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan was scheduled to begin today, Saturday, June 13th. The first ODI was scheduled to be played in Dharamsala at 1:30 PM, but due to persistent rain, the toss has not yet taken place. Both teams are present at the stadium, waiting for the rain to stop. Meanwhile, an update has emerged regarding the ODI match being converted into a T20 match.

If this happens, the first ODI between India and Afghanistan will be of 20 overs each.

It's still drizzling in Dharamsala. Fortunately, the rain has slowed down a bit. The Indian players are having a good time in the dressing room. The overs have already begun to be reduced. The cut-off time for a 20-over match is 6:32 pm. This means that if the match doesn't start by 6:30 pm, then a 20-over match will be played. If the match starts at 5 pm, the number of overs will be reduced to accommodate the time.  

The pitch is currently covered with covers. However, the ground staff is expecting more rain, as covers are being brought in to cover the rest of the field. The sky is overcast. Fortunately, this ground dries quickly.
