According to the Speedtest Global Index, Pakistan ranks 100th globally for mobile internet speeds. In August 2025, the median download speed in Pakistan was 90Mbps and the upload speed was 13.06Mbps. In terms of fixed internet speeds, Pakistan ranks 145th globally, with a median download speed of 104.43Mbps and an upload speed of 56.59Mbps.

India's ranking in this ranking is significantly better than Pakistan's. India ranks 25th in terms of mobile internet speeds and 98th in terms of fixed connections. The median download speed on mobile internet in India is 131.77Mbps, and upload speed is 11.18Mbps. For fixed connections, the download speed is 59.07Mbps and upload speed is 57.16Mbps.
