The unique feature of these three features is that users don't need to type on the screen for every task. Gemini allows for voice interaction with Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Keep.

Docs Live will be your AI co-writer

Google Docs Live is being positioned as a hands-free AI companion, which can be used to create initial drafts, summaries, proposals, and other documents.

The unique feature is that Gemini isn't limited to information available in Docs. If needed, it can also use information from Gmail, Drive, Chat, and the web. Before creating a document, Gemini will show a brief overview of the available information.

The user can then verbally specify what information to add and how to format the document. Pressing the floating action button in the Google Docs app will reveal the Create with voice option. This will launch Docs Live.

Chat with your inbox with Gmail Live

According to media reports, Gmail Live aims to simplify the process of searching and understanding emails. Now, there's no need to manually read individual messages to find information in old emails or long email threads.

Users can ask questions directly from Gmail Live, and Gemini will respond based on the information in their inbox. Furthermore, it eliminates the need to repeatedly provide full details during the conversation.

Conversations can also be paused quickly if the topic needs to be changed. The full-screen interface will display a transcript of the conversation, and replies will also include links to related emails.

To use it, tap the new Live icon that appears in the Gmail app's search bar. Currently, this feature is available globally for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra users in the English language on Android and iOS.

Keep Live creates notes and lists as you speak.

For your information, Google Keep Live will be beneficial for those who suddenly remember an idea, task, or important item. Users can speak without any fixed format, and Gemini will interpret the audio and create a manageable list.

For example, if you say you need to buy the ingredients to make pesto pasta, Keep Live can interpret what you're saying and create a shopping list. Multiple notes can be created in a single session. Furthermore, users can also edit notes later using voice.

Keep Live is currently available on Android devices and requires an updated version of Google AI Plus, a Pro, or Ultra subscription. Availability for Gmail Live and Docs Live depends on the AI ​​plan. Google has also announced that Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live will soon be available to business users of Google Workspace.
