After a significant decline last week, investors have taken advantage of the lower prices and are buying gold again. This has supported gold prices, and they are now seeing a rebound. Furthermore, the weakening US dollar has also strengthened gold prices. However, rising prices are hampering the common man's dream of owning gold. Gold prices rose for the third consecutive day in the capital, Delhi, today. In these three days,  the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹940, while the price of 22-carat gold has risen by ₹860. In today's trading, the price of 10 grams of both 24-carat and 22-carat gold has risen marginally by ₹10, but gold prices remain high across the country.

While gold has increased consumer anxiety, silver has provided some relief. Silver prices fell today due to lower industrial demand. Following yesterday's increase, today's prices have declined by ₹100 per kilogram.

Silver prices fall again

While the rise in gold prices had customers worried, silver prices provided some relief. Following yesterday's increase, a decrease of ₹100 per kg was recorded today. Previously, on July 20th, silver prices had risen by ₹5,000 per kg. Prior to that, prices had remained stable for two consecutive days. Furthermore, on July 17th, after five consecutive days of stability, silver fell by ₹5,000 per kg. Currently, the price of one kg of silver in Delhi is ₹2,34,900. The same rate applies in Mumbai and Kolkata. However, in Chennai, one kg of silver is selling for ₹2,40,100, making it the most expensive among the four major metro cities.
