Get ₹50,000 for MBBS and B.Tech Studies: Full Details on the Scholarship

The Foundation for Excellence (FFE) has opened the application process for its scholarship program for the 2026-27 academic session. Selected students will receive financial assistance of ₹50,000 per year.

There is good news for meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families who are pursuing higher education in professional fields such as engineering, medicine, or law. The Foundation for Excellence—one of the country’s leading non-profit organizations—has launched the application process for its scholarship program for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible students selected for the scholarship will receive ₹50,000 annually to help cover tuition fees and other educational expenses. The primary objective of the organization is to prevent talented students—who have secured admission to professional courses by clearing rigorous national entrance examinations—from having to drop out due to financial constraints. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is December 31.

Which courses are eligible?

Only students who have enrolled in the first year of programs such as B.E./B.Tech, 5-year integrated/dual-degree programs, M.Tech, MBBS, or 5-year integrated LLB for the 2026-27 academic session are eligible to apply. Students pursuing BDS, dentistry, or B.Arch are not eligible for this scholarship. The Foundation for Excellence’s general scholarship program does not allocate quotas based on caste, community, gender, or religion; it is based entirely on merit and financial need. Candidates must have completed their 12th-grade education in 2024 or later to be eligible.

Rules Regarding Income and Rank

To qualify for this scholarship, the total annual income of the student's family must be less than ₹4 lakh. Additionally, students must have secured admission through a recognized state or national-level entrance examination. For NEET, the candidate must hold a rank of up to 50,000 in the All-India Common Merit List. For BE/B.Tech or other programs, the rank must meet the admission criteria and cut-off ranks specified by the respective state or college.

Additional Benefits Beyond the Scholarship

Beyond financial assistance, the FFE (Foundation for Excellence) provides various resources to support the holistic development and career advancement of students. This includes direct mentorship from corporate and industry experts. Students will also have access to training in English language proficiency, aptitude development, and advanced communication skills. Furthermore, the program offers access to technical courses via Coursera and provides mock interview sessions to enhance the students' employability.
