EA server down worries gamers
EA Server Down: Electronic Arts' servers went down on Thursday, causing problems for gamers. Due to the server outage, gamers in many countries are unable to access online games and other services. Gamers report having trouble logging into their accounts, joining matches, and maintaining a connection while playing games. Gamers are complaining about this on social media.
Gamers are facing these problems.
According to DownDetector, a website that monitors internet outages, most users are experiencing connectivity issues. Approximately 54 percent of users reporting outages cited server connection issues. Approximately 18 percent reported gameplay disruptions, and 16 percent reported login issues. Gamers say EA FC Ultimate Team has been most affected by the server outage.
Waiting for the company's response
EA has yet to comment on the cause of the server downtime, nor has it stated when the issue will be resolved. While some users have reported service restoration, the issue hasn't been fully resolved.
YouTube was also down.
Like the EA servers, YouTube's service also went down yesterday. Millions of users in several countries, including the US, were affected. The YouTube app, YouTube Music, and YouTube Kids were also affected by the server outage. This resulted in YouTube not loading on people's mobile phones, and an error message saying "Something went wrong" was displayed. YouTube later explained that this problem was due to a technical glitch in the video recommendation system.
