Amidst all this, did you know that you can't use commercial cylinders, the blue ones, at home? Doing so could result in a hefty fine.
What are the rules related to the use of commercial cylinders...
Commercial gas cylinders can be used only in business related places,
this can be used in places like hotels, restaurants, dhabas, cafes, wedding functions etc.
Where can commercial cylinders not be used?
Know that you cannot use commercial gas cylinders at home.
Doing so is considered a legal offense.
What is the penalty provision?
Actually, you can only use domestic gas i.e. 14.2 kg red coloured cylinder at home.
Commercial gas cylinders cannot be used in homes.
If someone does so, the commercial gas cylinder can be confiscated
and your gas connection can also be cancelled.
If you use a commercial cylinder at home, you can be fined.
A fine of up to 50 thousand rupees can be imposed for violating gas connection rules.
