Chennai has now become the team to score 200 or more runs the most times in the Indian Premier League. CSK set this record by scoring 209 runs against the Punjab Kings on Friday. This was the 36th time that the Chennai team has crossed the 200-run mark in the IPL.

Chennai Super Kings now holds the record for crossing the 200-run mark the most times in IPL history. CSK has done so 36 times, while Royal Challengers Bangalore has done so 35 times. Punjab Kings are also not far behind in scoring big scores, having scored 200 or more 32 times. The Mumbai Indians have also crossed the 200-run mark in a match 32 times.

Mhatre scored 73 runs, while Sarfaraz Khan played a blistering innings of 32 runs. He hit seven boundaries in his short innings. Shivam Dube remained unbeaten on 45.
