Arya Chanakya was a great thinker. He wrote a book called Chanakya Niti. In this book, Chanakya explains many things about what an ideal family should be like. Chanakya says that a family is an institution built on trust. When this trust is broken, the family can never live together. Therefore, it is the duty of every member of the family to maintain this trust. The role of the head of the family is crucial in all this. Chanakya also says that respect is as important as trust. Every member of the family wants to be respected within the family, but if someone in the family does not receive due respect, or if there is discord with them, then such a family is constantly in conflict. There are some things that can cause your family to remain united for long and to become divided. So let's learn what Chanakya said about this.
Chanakya says that as long as there is a sense of belonging in a family, no one can separate the members of your family, and there is never any quarrel or domestic discord in such a home. But when this sense of belonging and intimacy is lost and egoism develops in the individual, there is never any happiness or peace in such a family. There is constant conflict in such a home. Family members start blaming each other. As a result, such a family may appear united from the outside, but is broken from within. Therefore, Chanakya has said that the sense of belonging should always be preserved; the loss of a sense of belonging is the root cause of family discord.
Chanakya further says that when family members start ignoring each other, do not pay attention to each other's presence, then there will always be fights in such a house, the minds of the family members become restless, hence it is important to pay attention to the family members, Chanakya also said this.
