Bank Holiday: Banks will remain closed for four days between August 24 and 30, see the full list of holidays

The new week has begun, and all government offices have reopened today. However, due to several festivals, including Rakhi, this week, banks will remain closed. Therefore, between August 24th and 30th, bank branches will be closed for a total of four days due to festivals and weekly holidays in various states across the country.
When are the holidays?
According to the RBI's holiday calendar, there are three regional bank holidays this week, from August 24th to 30th. Bank branches will be closed for four days this week, but will operate normally on regular working days. Banks will be open on Saturdays this coming weekend, as August 29th is the fifth Saturday of the month.

August 25, Tuesday – Banks in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh will remain closed on account of Milad-un-Nabi or Milad-e-Sharif (birthday of Prophet Muhammad) and Onam
August 26, Wednesday – Banks in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Manipur, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Delhi, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand will remain closed on account of Eid-e-Milad, Barawafat or Milad-un-Nabi (Prophet Muhammad's birthday) and Thiruonam celebrations
August 28, Friday – Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Himachal Pradesh due to Rakshabandhan.
