Recently, freelance filmmaker Sameer Punjabi shared a post on his official Instagram account. In the post, he explained that he was traveling from Goa to Mumbai on an Air India flight. His luggage included a ₹55,000 rental tripod, which broke. He shared videos, photos, and screenshots, describing his ordeal.

,, showing baggage handlers throwing the luggage away. Samir also stated that he had already informed the airline staff that the item was fragile and expensive, but it was still damaged. The airline later offered him only 5,000 rupees in compensation.

Sameer also claimed in this post that when he showed the video of the baggage being thrown to an airline employee, he was told, "Luggage is loaded like this." This video and Sameer's entire post quickly went viral on social media. Air India Express responded on Instagram, expressing regret over the incident. The airline also asked Sameer to share his PNR so that further assistance could be provided in the matter.
