Anukul Roy Added To India-A Squad: A major change has been made to the India-A squad for the Sri Lanka Tri-Series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the changes on Thursday (May 21). The Men in Blue's squad includes uncapped all-rounder Anukul Roy, who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2026.
A BCCI release stated that Anukul has been included in place of spin-bowling all-rounder Harsh Dubey, who has been selected in the senior Indian team for the one-off Test and ODI series against Afghanistan.
Let us tell you that the tri-series to be held in Sri Lanka and the India vs Afghanistan Test and ODI series will clash with each other, due to which any player can participate in only one series.
Tri-series date
The tri-series between India A, Sri Lanka A, and Afghanistan A will be held from June 9 to 21. This tri-series will be held in Sri Lanka.
India vs Afghanistan series
India and Afghanistan will play a one-Test and three-match ODI series from June 6 to 20, played on Indian soil.
