KKR lost the match in just 20 balls

Kolkata started fast but Quinton de Kock (15) was out in the third over. But Sunil Narine and Ajinkya Rahane did not let the pace slow down and took the score to 90 runs in the powerplay itself. In the seventh over, Narine (30) was dismissed by spinner Digvesh Rathi. This spinner was once again the most effective bowler of the team, who kept KKR in check.
